The SBP Fact Sheet, Withdrawal from SBP, posted on the Army RSO Homepage provides guidance on withdrawal from SBP between the 25th and 36th month following retirement. You will need your spouse's concurrence and must submit a DD Form 2656-2, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) Termination Request.
