Librarian of the Army
- Provide policy, guidance, and management oversight of the Army Library Program.
- Develop policy for the G-1 that enables Army libraries to support research and development, self-development, education, training, well-being and lifelong learning.
- Represent the G-1 on Army library and information science issues and forums.
- Manage Librarian Career Programs interns, professional development training and the Army Library Training Institute.
