Ms. Sharyn Saunders
Ms. Sharyn Saunders was selected to the Senior Executive Service in January 2014. She is currently serving as the Director, Ready and Resilient Campaign. In this capacity she establishes effective strategies, develops plans, and formulates policies to design, implement and lead a collaborative, coherent and multi-disciplinary approach to maintain Army readiness for Soldiers, Army civilians and family members by tailoring preventive and response measures to promote physical and mental fitness, emotional stability, personal growth, dignity and respect.
SGM Frankie K. Leyro
SGM Leyro is a native of Caguas, Puerto Rico. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1988 and attended Basic Training at Fort McClellan, AL and Advanced Individual Training as a 77F (Petroleum Supply Specialist) at Fort Lee, VA. In 1992, he later re-classified as a 75B (Personnel Administration Specialist) and attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana.
SGM Leyro assumed his duties as the Human Resources Policy Directorate (HRPD) Sergeant Major in December 2012. He has served in a wide range of assignments and leadership positions. His most recent assignment was as the G-1 Sergeant Major, Army South, Fort Sam Houston, TX. His previous assignments as a Human Resources NCO include G-1 Sergeant Major, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY; CJ1 Sergeant Major, CJTF-101 and Regional Command-East, Bagram, Afghanistan; BDE S1 NCOIC, 1st BCT, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum NY; Student, U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, TX; First Sergeant, NCO Academy, Fort Jackson, SC; Manpower and Force Development NCOIC, US Army NATO, SHAPE Belgium; Strength Management NCOIC, US Army NATO, SHAPE, Belgium; Personnel Sergeant, MEDDAC, Fort Stewart, GA; Personnel Sergeant, 751st Military Intelligence Battalion, Camp Humphreys, Korea; and Personnel Staff NCO, 24th Signal Battalion, Fort Stewart, GA.
